Custom Work

about this project

This project was particularly exciting because the client only had a rough idea of what they wanted.  They were replacing a couple of tables with a lot of exposed wiring and extension cords. After the first requirements discussion, I put together a 3D model to use for further requirements definition to develop the final design.  The basic requirements were three workstations, an accessible cavity for wiring, two server racks, and to make it look like it was part of the church's original design.

Almost entirely Red Oak and Red Oak Plywood,  stained to match the trim and and seating.  The intent was to make it look like it belonged and was not an afterthought yet completely functional and easy to grow without requiring major modification.  I feel very good about this work.
